8th Grade Honors Science Tutorial (Hopkins)
Students enrolled in the Physical Science Honors class at Hopkins Junior High will be assisted with the challenging and rigorous subject matter. Weekly material will be reviewed, students’ questions will be answered and future material will be introduced. This tutorial session is designed to help motivated students keep up with the curriculum in this accelerated eighth grade science class.
Chemistry Regular Tutorial (MSJ)
Major topics that will be covered in the winter/spring session will include: solutions, kinetics, equilibrium, acids and bases, electrochemistry, and thermodynamics. The stress will be on problem solving skills. Student questions about class lectures, assignments, labs, preparing for tests, and projects will be answered. This course is designed to help boost the student’s confidence in Chemistry.

Biology Honors Tutorial (MSJ)
Students enrolled in 9th grade honors biology at Mission San Jose High School will be helped weekly with the subject matter. Weekly material is reviewed, students have their questions answered, and they complete homework they may not understand. This class is designed to help students keep up with the challenging curriculum of Accelerated Bio.
AP Biology Tutorial (MSJ)
For the Advanced Placement Biology Tutorial weekly material is discussed, students have their questions answered, and they complete homework they may not understand at first. This class is designed to help students keep up with the college level depth and pace synonymous with AP courses. An additional emphasis will be added for the test’s required laboratory knowledge.
AP Physics Tutorial (MSJ)
This class will assist students who are enrolled in AP Physics to understand the material more clearly. Lecture, question and answer, and student participation will enable AP Physics students to improve their quiz and test scores, along with performing well on the AP Physics test in May.
