Ms. Abigail Noche
A homegrown product of James Logan High School, Ms. Abigail Noche, has taught at her alma mater for over 20 years. During that time, she has taught a wide variety of life science courses at all academic levels. Currently, she is teaching AP Biology, Honors Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Honors Biology, but has taught integrated science and basic physical science as well.
After the completion of her degree at U.C. Berkeley, she discovered the love for teaching. She enjoyed Cal’s coursework and rigor, but found it equally inspiring to collaboratively share and build upon that information with others. Her teaching career stems from the passion of fostering an excitement for life sciences with her students and witnessing the exhilaration of her students’ own discoveries.
She has received numerous accolades over the years, including twice being voted Teacher of the Year by students, teachers, admin, and parents. She has also served as a beginning teacher (BTSA) coach, master teacher, the science department chair, and a district literacy coach. Ms. Noche looks forward to sharing her experience with the students at Mill Creek Academy.
In her spare time, she enjoys crafting (of all kinds) and going on day trips with her loving husband and 6 amazing children.
