Ms. Connie Hsieh
For much of her life, Ms. Hsieh has known that she wanted to work with children, both within the public school system and privately with her church. Ms. Hsieh completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Riverside where she received a B.A. in Liberal Studies and a minor in Education. She then continued her education at Pepperdine University and received her teaching credential along with a Masters in Education. Ms. Hsieh has spent a great deal of her teaching career working with grade levels 2-5. Being a part of the faculty time with Santa Clara Unified School District allows her to work with students of all different academic levels and demographics. Ms. Hsieh has thoroughly enjoyed investing her time and energy into educating young minds. She has a passion for learning and keeps herself busy with creating new teaching strategies to better foster the needs of her students. As Mill Creek Academy begins to offer creative writing courses, Ms. Hsieh is very excited about the opportunity to help students begin to think creatively and then putting all of their imaginative ideas into creatives stories and poems. She looks forward to guiding and showing students how to channel their creative energy into written expression.
In her spare time, Ms. Hsieh enjoys traveling and hanging out with her husband, family and friends.
