Ms. Elizabeth Vedula
Ms. Vedula grew up just South of Sacramento in Elk Grove, CA. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at Humboldt State University and knew at a young age that she loved helping others by becoming a teacher. After college, she attended CSU, Sacramento where she earned her single subject teaching credential, eager to show young people the power of math and its daily application. She fell in love with teaching Geometry and while most would find this subject conceptual difficult to understand, Ms. Vedula prides herself in showing the real world connection to Geometry.
Ms. Vedula has been an educator for more than 8 years and in that time, she has taught Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra 2, Integrated Mathematics I and Integrated Mathematics II. Currently Ms. Vedula works at Washington High School and she is teaching Geometry and Common Core 3.
During her free time, Ms. Vedula loves to spend time with her fiancé and their puggle, Louie. Together they love to go for short hikes or cheer for their home team, the Oakland A’s. Ms. Vedula is excited to be a part of the team at Mill Creek Academy and to help students reach their fullest mathematical potential.
