Ms. Pamela Ly

Ms. Ly graduated from James Logan High School and earned a degree in Integrative Biology at UC Berkeley.

Having a desire to pursue a career in research, she soon realized she could not deny her passion for teaching. She has always had a penchant for teaching, whether through volunteering at her alma mater or teaching elementary school kids in after school programs. Particularly, she enjoys conveying what she has learned, in hopes that her students love Biology as much as she does. Ms. Ly is currently pursuing her single subject teaching credential in Biological Sciences at CSU East Bay and, in the fall, looks forward to working at James Logan High teaching Biology.

She is friendly and determined to help students review their concepts in Biology, especially topics that are difficult to master. By showing students how the concepts relate to the real world, Ms. Ly is able to give students a stronger foundation in the subject. Besides teaching, Ms. Ly enjoys playing sports, photography, and scrapbooking.
