About Mill Creek Academy

Established in 1998, Mill Creek Academy is a well-established business located in the heart of Mission San Jose, a district of Fremont. Begun as a writing school in the summer of 1998 by Founder, Cheri Block Sabraw, a retired English teacher after 25 years of teaching from the prestigious Mission San Jose High School, Mill Creek Academy has burgeoned into a full service educational program offering academic enrichment courses in all subjects, test preparation, and college admissions consulting.

In 2002, former Mission San Jose High School English teacher, Joyce Wong partnered with Mill Creek Academy. Since then, the Academy continues to be known for its expertise in curriculum and instruction as well as providing enthusiasm for academic growth.

Servicing about 1,000 students per year in our enrichment and test preparation programs, our students come not only from Mission San Jose High School and its feeder junior high and elementary schools, but also other motivated students from as far away as Danville, Pleasanton, San Ramon, Milpitas, Union City, San Jose, Cupertino, and Los Altos also attend our courses.

Our college admissions consulting team is committed to supporting students and their families through the college admissions process. A period of time that is often overwhelming and stressful, we are confident that by planning ahead, our team will provide expertise through showcasing your very best potential during the application process.
