“This class definitely helped me get through the test. I think, without this class, I wouldn’t even have gotten through the test. Helped me apply things in the test and we went over ways to succeed with a passing grade.” -Sonam
“I think that a good trait that Mr. DiPaola has is he is friendly and approachable. He does not scorn people for making mistakes, as some teachers do. I feel that reviewing probability was helpful since it has always been my weak point.” -Stacey
MS. DILLEMUTH IS AMAZING! I learned more here than at school. Makes me happy.” -Gina
“Mrs. Dillemuth has been really helpful and successful in math. I improved my grade drastically ever since I have been in this class. This has raised my confidence and has made me happy to do and learn Math.” -Katelyn
“It has ben a very fun and educational class. She explains the concepts clearly, and also gives more information than just the info in the textbook.” -Monica
“The algebra II class I took at Mill Creek Academy was very informative and helpful. Mrs. Dillemuth helped me to raise my math grade a full level in school by applying information from the class.” –M.Y (Mrs. Dillemuth, Algebra II)
“At Mill Creek I was able to get one on one help in geometry that I didn’t get at school. Mrs. Dillemuth was really patient and had a way of explaining things that made perfect sense.” –J.M (Mrs. Dillemuth, Geometry)
“I would recommend this class to others who are in need of help with math. This class helped me to challenge myself with hard problems that I now understand how to do.” –Anonymous (Mrs. Dillemuth, Geometry)
Sarah had a great summer in Honors Geometry last year. She has a solid A now, and although we are happy about the grade, her confidence is what we are most proud of. This is what she said when I asked her about the class she took last summer: “I had a great time last summer at Mill Creek Academy. They made geometry easy to understand and the assignments prepared me for my high school geometry class. I’ve always been good at math and this class really helped build my skills and confidence.” – Cindy W., Parent, 2008
“Yes, you can fill those shoes! I have proof with my youngest daughter who took Algebra II/Trig with Mr. Obeid last summer. She is thriving in her Algebra II/Trig class this school year at Mission. I never had any of my daughters take a class at Mill Creek before last summer.
I thought while and after Jessica took the class, what a wonderful way to learn material without feeling pressured to make the exceptional grade. Don’t misunderstand me, she wanted to excel on her quizzes and homework at Mill Creek, but she didn’t have that stress factor as she does during the school year. This is important to me as I am a parent committee member on the Mission: SOS (Stressed Out Students) team. Cheri, you offer an exceptional educational service that is local.” – Tomasa Macapinlac, TGIF Vice President and Chairperson for Summer Programs Fair
